Flow Monitors

In order to obtain a measurement of total emissions for pollution monitoring (e.g kg/hr) it is necessary to either calculate or measure flow within the gas stream. Depending on the process conditions Pentol offers one of the following flow monitors:

• Codel V-CEM5100 - a stand-alone, optical gas velocity monitor (the limiting parameter is very low flue gas temperature - below approx. 70° C));
• Dr. Foedisch FMD 09- a differential pressure flow meter (the limiting parameter is high dust concentration in exhaust gas.

Both instruments are certified with QAL 1. Moreover, when due to the metrological circumstances a proper measurement of flue gas flow is not possible, Pentol developed soe special algorithms (adjusted to the specific requirements of the place of its installation) suitable to determine the flow of measured gas.
