PentoMag® 2550 - Coal Additive
Pentol is a producer of additives and chemicals for solid and liquid fuels. They are prepared individually in order to get excellent products capable of improving coal-fired boilers exploitation.
Since 1989 the PentoMag 2550 has been successfully used to prevent coal-fired boilers slugging in Polish power plants.
This additive ensures the possibility of continued operation with full load of the boiler. It enables shortening the time of plant shutdowns - often accompanied by fuel savings.
The PentoMag 2550 is a concentrated suspension of active substances (metal oxides) dissolved in liquid carrier (oil). This form ensures that its dosing is precise and easy to be done.
Pentol hires out the automatic dosing unit to the customer, for the period of using the additive.
Nowadays, the additive is continuously used in all 6 blocks of one of the largest Polish power plants “Jaworzno III”.
Moreover, Pentol manufactures a wide range of additives to liquid fuels (heavy oil) which prevent corrosion and optimize combustion process.
