Pentol Products and Technologies for Heavy Oil Treatment
Pentol is a producer of additives and chemicals for solid and liquid fuels. They are prepared individually in order to get excellent products capable of improving coal-fired boilers exploitation.
The quality of heavy oil (or other crude oil heavy fractions) combustion is significantly improved thanks to water addition.
Small size of water droplets contained in water-in-oil emulsion “explode” in flame area causing optimal atomization of the oil.
In consequence, the combustion is more complete, the amount of unburned particles in fly ash decreases as well as the flue gas content of air pollutants (such as: nitrogen oxides, carbon oxide and hydrocarbons) drops down.
The operation of the emulsion may be enhanced by using PentoMag® heavy oil additives. Moreover, in some cases the proper approach is to use only this additives.
